“Amazing B&B - Deserves 10 stars
We selected Franziska Haus for our 10th anniversary since we were able to get a private detached cabin. But after spending a weekend enjoying the delightful hospitality of Clark and Brigitte, we wished we had stayed in the main house. Everything was beyond our expectations. The location is very convenient to explore the wineries and restaurants. The breakfasts were wonderful, our favorite was the crepes with ricotta cheese and fruit. The hosts are the nicest couple and incredibly helpful for recommendations of places to visit and eat. Being our first time in Oregon wine country it came in very handy to have them help plan our itineraries for the 3 day weekend. We are almost sad to have to go home to Saint Helena, CA.”

“We spent two nights here as part of anniversary trip, it couldn’t have been better. What a spectacular place, only to be topped by the hosts. Our suite was beautiful, the bed the most comfortable we have slept in anywhere. Everything was spotless. The breakfasts were amazing. The hosts were extremely helpful, being from Arizona we didn’t know much about the area but they pointed us in the right direction for food and wineries. Despite the nonstop rain while we were there, the hosts and their first class B&B made for terrific memory for us. We hope to be back soon!”

“Wonderful Log Home and grounds. We had the Orchard Room, was very comfortable and wonderfully decorated. Conveniently located off main highway in wine country. Countryside views were peaceful. Thankful the owners didn’t require a two night min.stay. Would highly recommend!”

This couple was not only available 24/7 for Q/A regarding local winery recommendations and restaurants, but also provided history on the area to boot! “My stay at the Franziska Haus was simply the best. The setting in the rolling hills in the heart of Oregon wine country was perfect….. There was interesting conversation when I sought it and piece and quiet when I preferred it. My room was beautifully appointed, quiet and very clean….. Clark apparently used to teach history. He proved to be an excellent resource for learning about the area”
